Terms of Service
Effective Date: June 21, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ELO, including our app, website, and related services. ELO is operated by ELO App LLC (“ELO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing ELO, or using ELO, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ELO.
For questions about these Terms or general support, contact: help@elopickleball.com
For privacy questions, contact: privacy@elopickleball.com
1. What ELO Is
ELO is a pickleball app that lets players create and join matches, submit results, track ELO ratings, compete on court and club leaderboards, follow courts, join clubs, chat with players and communities, interact with match activity, and report issues or abusive behavior.
ELO is not a professional sports league, governing body, tournament organizer, referee service, emergency service, or official rating authority. ELO ratings, Sportsmanship Scores, leaderboards, stats, court information, club information, and other app features are provided for community, recreational, and informational purposes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use ELO.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use ELO only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
By using ELO, you represent that you are allowed to use the app and that your use of ELO does not violate any law or agreement that applies to you.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for your account and for all activity that happens through your account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account and profile information
- Keep your sign-in credentials secure
- Not share your account with others
- Not impersonate another person
- Not use another person's account
- Not create accounts to evade restrictions, suspensions, blocks, bans, or moderation actions
- Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission
ELO may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create safety, integrity, legal, abuse, or operational risks.
4. Profiles, Privacy, and Visibility
ELO may allow users to choose profile visibility settings, including public, followers-only or friend-only, and private visibility.
You are responsible for the profile information and content you provide. Depending on your settings and the features you use, parts of your profile, activity, matches, stats, photos, follow relationships, club activity, court activity, or other information may be visible to other users.
Privacy settings may limit visibility of certain profile and activity information, but they may not hide all information in all contexts. Information may remain visible, stored, or processed where needed for matches, results, disputes, clubs, courts, leaderboards, reports, moderation, notifications, safety, app integrity, or legal compliance.
Blocking another user may limit profile access, messaging, search visibility, chats, and social interactions between you and that user. Blocking may not remove all prior content or activity, especially where information is needed for match history, disputes, reports, moderation, safety, or legal reasons.
5. Matches and Results
ELO allows users to create, join, and track pickleball matches.
You agree to submit match information and results honestly and accurately.
You may not:
- Submit false match results
- Submit results for matches that did not happen
- Create fake matches
- Duplicate matches to affect ratings, stats, leaderboards, or activity
- Manipulate match outcomes
- Stage matches for rating or leaderboard manipulation
- Coordinate with others to inflate, reduce, or manipulate ratings
- Intentionally lose or misreport matches to affect ratings or leaderboards
- Abuse QR codes, join links, teammate flows, location features, or match flows
- Use another person's account to join or submit results
- Interfere with another user's ability to submit, confirm, dispute, or correct a match result
- Pressure, threaten, bribe, harass, or retaliate against another user over match results, disputes, ratings, or leaderboards
ELO may process match results, disputes, ratings, Sportsmanship Scores, stats, leaderboards, and activity based on information submitted by users and collected through the app.
ELO may use automated and manual methods to detect, investigate, and respond to suspected cheating, manipulation, abuse, or integrity violations. This may include reviewing match activity, result submissions, disputes, QR or join-flow activity, location or court information, rating patterns, reports, account activity, and other app data.
ELO may remove, cancel, adjust, restrict, or review matches or results if we believe they are false, abusive, manipulated, disputed, unsafe, or harmful to the integrity of the app. ELO may also restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take other action against users who cheat, manipulate the app, submit false information, or abuse match flows.
6. Ranked, Casual, ELO Ratings, and Sportsmanship Scores
ELO uses an ELO rating system.
Ranked matches affect ELO ratings. Casual matches do not affect ELO ratings.
ELO does not use score-based stats.
ELO ratings, Sportsmanship Scores, leaderboards, rankings, stats, and activity summaries are app features. They may not always be complete, accurate, current, or free from errors.
Sportsmanship Scores may reflect confirmation behavior, disputes, or other integrity-related activity. ELO may update how Sportsmanship Scores are calculated, displayed, or used.
You may not manipulate or attempt to manipulate ELO ratings, Sportsmanship Scores, leaderboards, match history, stats, or any other app feature.
7. Disputes
ELO may allow users to dispute match results or change submissions in supported flows.
You agree to use the dispute process honestly and in good faith.
You may not:
- File false disputes
- Abuse the dispute system
- Pressure another user to submit or change a result falsely
- Retaliate against a user for disputing a result
- Use disputes to harass, threaten, punish, or manipulate another user
- Coordinate disputes to manipulate ratings, Sportsmanship Scores, stats, or leaderboards
ELO may use submitted results, dispute activity, Sportsmanship Score information, reports, location information, account activity, and other app data to review or respond to issues.
ELO is not required to resolve every dispute or make a final determination about real-world events.
8. Courts, Clubs, and Leaderboards
ELO includes court and club features. Users may follow courts, join clubs, participate in club or court activity, chat with communities, and compete on court or club leaderboards.
Court and club information may be based on user submissions, public information, location data, match activity, admin review, or third-party data. ELO does not guarantee that court names, locations, photos, availability, conditions, or other court information are accurate or complete.
Club owners and admins may have tools to manage club membership, requests, invites, roles, announcements, and other club features. Club owners and admins must use those tools responsibly and may not abuse, harass, exclude unlawfully, impersonate, mislead, or misuse member information.
You may not manipulate court or club leaderboards, create fake court or club activity, submit false court information, create fake clubs or courts, abuse club roles, misuse admin tools, or coordinate with others to manipulate court or club rankings.
ELO may remove, restrict, rename, merge, review, or disable courts, clubs, announcements, images, chats, leaderboards, or other community features where needed for safety, accuracy, moderation, app integrity, or legal reasons.

- Interferes with ELO's safety, integrity, or operation
ELO may remove or restrict content at any time if we believe it violates these Terms, creates risk, or harms the app or community.
10. Reporting, Blocking, and Moderation
ELO includes tools to report users, content, messages, comments, courts, clubs, images, announcements, and other issues. ELO may also allow users to block other users.
You agree to use reporting and blocking tools honestly and responsibly.
You may not:
- Submit false reports
- Abuse the reporting system
- Use reports to harass another user
- Coordinate false reports against another user
- Retaliate against a user for reporting content or behavior
- Attempt to evade blocks or restrictions
ELO may review reports, content, account activity, messages, match activity, location or court activity, and related context when needed to enforce these Terms, respond to safety concerns, investigate abuse, protect users, or comply with legal obligations.
